RUWASA is an acronym for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency. It is an Agency for Water Supply and Sanitation and Rural Environment established by Act No. 5 of Water and Sanitation Services for the Year 2019. RUWASA has come into operation in July, 2019.
POSITION: MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN GRADE II – 61 POST
Duties and Responsibilities
- To operate, maintain and assist to repair production machines;
- To assist to design and inspect products manufactured and other work to ensure they conform to specified standards, plus plans and designs;
- To assist to test equipment for proper operation; and
- To Supervise cleanliness of working tools/equipment and Workshop premises;
- To carry out repair and maintenance of Vehicles, Plants and Equipment.
- To undertake technical inspection of Vehicles, Plants and equipment;
- To open and maintain job cards for mechanical works records; and
- To perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualification and Experience for Ruwasa Nafasi za kazi 2022
- Holder of FTC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
REMUNERATION: SALARY SCALE RSS 3
